Dear colleagues

It gives us immense pleasure in inviting you all to attend the 17^th Asia-Pacific Environmental & Occupational Dermatology Conference along with the 15^th National Conference of Contact and Occupational Dermatoses Forum of India (CODFI). This conference is being organized by the Department of Dermatology, PGIMER, Chandigarh in collaboration with the Asia-Pacific Environmental & Occupational Dermatology Group (APEOD) and the International Contact Dermatitis Research Group (ICDRG). The conference is scheduled to be held on 31^st October and November 1^st and 2^nd, 2025 at Chandigarh.

The conference will have an almost equal mix of national and overseas experts. The speakers are global leaders who have researched extensively and led the development of patch test guidelines, identified new allergens and published books in the field, besides renowned Indian researchers and clinicians who have worked extensively on these diseases.

The conference will feature a half-day workshop for postgraduate students and private practitioners wanting to understand the basics of patch testing from the international masters. Postgraduates will have the opportunity to make presentations at an international meeting in the form of free paper or e-poster sessions. For the active involvement of the audience, we have proposed absorbing debates, as also a quiz for the postgraduates to win attractive cash prizes.

Chandigarh is a planned city in the northern part of India at the foothill of the Himalayas. Its architectural planning was done by Le Corbusier, a French-Swiss architect. Weather in Chandigarh will be pleasant in October–November. There are several attractive places worth visiting in and around Chandigarh. The official emblem of the city is the ‘open hand’ that represents the motto of the city—ready to give and ready to receive. You will find a true reflection of the city's emblem in the execution of this event. The organising team looks forward to welcome all the delegates.
