Abstract formatting and submission guidelines

1. Abstract submission opens on 1^st March, 2025 and closes on 15^th June, 2025.
2. Abstract has to be submitted at the dedicated email-scientificapeod2025@gmail.com
3. Presenting author must submit the abstract.
4. Decision of the scientific committee regarding acceptance of the abstract will be communicated by e-mail to the presenting author by 30^th June, 2025.

Note: Abstracts in the broad area of Eczema's can be submitted. However, only abstracts related to contact dermatitis will be considered for presentation in the award paper session. Accepted abstracts not selected for free paper presentation will be placed in the e-poster session and will also be considered for best poster award.

Instructions for Abstract preparation

1. Abstracts must be submitted in English - Times New Roman font with a font size of 12.
   To ensure blinded review - no identifying features such as name of hospital, college, clinics, or other places may be listed.
2. Do not include the names of authors and their affiliations in the body of the abstract.
3. Material in the abstract must be original and not previously published or presented.
4. Abstract size is limited to a maximum 350 words (excluding title, authors, their affiliations).
5. Please submit structured abstracts under the following heads–

For original Research
Background, Aims & objectives, Materials/patients & methods, Results, Conclusions, Limitations, Conflict of interest

For case reports
Introduction, Description of the case, Conclusion.

Other instructions
* Title of the abstract should be brief. Abbreviations must not be used in the title. Title should not be in all CAPS.
* Author(s) should write first name and then the family name
* Underline the presenting author's name
* Affiliations of each author must be declared

Please note – National Medical Council / State Medical Council registration number of the submitting/presenting author (not applicable to overseas delegates) needs to be mentioned during abstract submission. The same registration number will have to be submitted during registration for the conference. All presenting authors need to register for the conference after acceptance of abstract.
